Our mission is to provide students a connection to the vibrancy of Punjabi culture.

PAST

The UBC Bhangra Club was established on Oct.1, 1992 by a group of students to promote Punjabi culture and give students at UBC a positive outlet for expression and interaction with others in their community.

PRESENT

This year, the team is fundraising for the charitable organization, Khalsa Aid.

Each year, we come together to host many events and fundraisers to help the local and global community, including:

Khalsa Aid

Khalsa Aid extends its compassionate support to communities worldwide affected by a spectrum of crises, including natural disasters, such as floods, earthquakes and other challenges like famines and conflicts. This dedicated organization, one of the early responders to crises, consistently steps forward to distribute vital resources like food, water, clothing, medical supplies and sanitation materials. They also undertake in the construction of both permanent and semi-permanent shelters to meet the immediate needs and ensuring the preservation of lives and dignity.
